The system used for sash windows can be applied to casement windows as well. Despite the fact that these types of windows do not have the 3mm gap that sash windows normally have, draughts can still get through a casement window and, therefore, need to be sealed effectively.
Ventrolla offers a two part process. The first stage involves the complete renovation of the casement window and the second stage helps improve performance through the introduction of the VPSS (our patented sealing system). This effectively seals the window and, as such, prevents any draughts from entering.
This system is introduced into the casement window frame and can also be introduced into the staff beads around the frame. The pile carrier is then routed into the woodwork to acquire a permanent fixing point in order to make the system an integral part of the entire window.
Our system can also be installed into sash windows and other timber windows and doors.
